HP govt to fulfil its election commitments: CM Sukhu

HP govt to fulfil its election commitments: CM Sukhu

Hamirpur (HP), Feb 5 (UNI) HP Chief Minister and senior Congress party leader, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu assured people that the party government would fulfil its ten commitments given to them during the elections.
He said the Congress party always believed in actions and not in hollow promises, he told reporters Sunday.
On the second day of his three days tour to his home district of Hamirpur, Sukhoo listened to the people’s problems and demands and assured them that their problems would be solved on a priority basis.
He said it would take four years to bring the state's economy back on track as the BJP has left a liability of Rs 11 thousand crore on the state exchequer.
Sukhu said Himachal's economy will be brought back on track in the coming times. Taking a jibe at the BJP and its leaders, he said the BJP government had left behind liabilities worth 11,000 crores and it would take time to repay the taken loans.
He said that ten guarantees have been given for five years which will be completed soon and there is nothing to worry about. Sukhu said OPS has been implemented for the convenience of the employees and it becomes obligatory to implement the decisions taken in the cabinet.
He said OPS has been implemented despite the fact that the central government was not going to help us. He said the government has implemented OPS after considering that the government employees have to move ahead if they do not get the money lying with the central government.
He said Hamirpur district is my home district and good work will be done in the whole district because the government is still in power for only two months and soon the system will be changed.
Sukhoo was accorded a grand welcome by the people of Gasota Mahadev and other areas of the district where he went in the morning today.
He offered puja at the Lord Shiva temple and sought ( blessings of the Lord) for his family and the state people. Local MLA, Ashish Sharma accompanied him to the temple.
People lined up for hours today from Hamirpur to Nadaun to welcome their hero and offered him garlands and showered flower petals on him. It was the first tour of his home constituency of Nadaun. He will spend two days there, meeting the people and listening to them.
