HP Cong chief seeks HC judge-led probe into police paper leak case

Hamirpur (HP), May 21 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Congress president Pratibha Singh on Saturday slammed the Jai Ram Thakur-led BJP government for its apathy towards the career of lakhs of unemployed youth alleging that the police paper leak case is a glaring example as she sought for a court monitored probe.
Speaking to the media at Bijheri on her maiden tour of the Hamirpur district, Singh said that only after the Congress took up the matter, the government woke up and launched a CBI probe. She said that the case was a serious issue and must be inquired about by a sitting judge of the High Court.
She visited several places in the poll-bound state. Earlier, she reached Ukhli, where president of the campaign committee Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, MLA of Badsar Inder Dutt Lakhanpal, former MLA of Dharamsala, Sudhir Sharma, former minister Rangeela Rao, former MLA Anita Verma, District President Rajendra Jar were also present.
