HP CM announces sub-tehsil at Lambloo

Hamirpur (HP), Dec 6 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Jai Ram Thakur announced to open a new Sub-tehsil at Lambloo in Hamirpur district on Friday.
Addressing public meeting in Hamirpur district, Mr Thakur said that people of Lambloo of the district would be benefited after coming up new administerative unit in area.
He also announced a recurring grant of ten crore rupees to the Hamirpur-based HP Technical University.
He said that the state government was committed for the welfare and well being of the masses and whatever genuine demands of the people would come before him those would be fulfilled without any political considerations.
He said that BJP was pro-people and pro development and as such there was no question of funds for the schemes and projects that people needed badly.
While addressing a public meeting at Matahni after inaugurating the new campus of the HP Technical University there, he said that all sorts of facilities would be made for making this University a Modern University and also announced a recurring grant of 10 crore rupees to the university.
Mr Thakur blasted the Congress party for trying to mislead the people of the state on various issues and said that it had no concrete programme for the people. Since it was itself a divided house, its leaders were trying to put entire blame on the BJP for its failure to keep its cadre united. He said that those who were leveling various charges against the state government should clarify where they were when they were in power in state and at the national level.
Thakur said the campus of HP Technical University is one of the best Campuses of the State adding that the new block of the Campus would be completed within next six months and provide best educational infrastructure to the students studying there.
Earlier, Mr Thakur inaugurated indoor stadium, campus of the HP technical University and also laid foundation stones worth rupees 135 crores for the Hamirpur district.

Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Anurag Thakur said that technical education could play a vital role in skill up-gradation of youth thereby helping in ensuring employment and self employment opportunities to them.

Vice Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh Technical University Prof S.P.Bansal while welcoming the Chief Minister to the University Campus said that the State Government during last two years had ensured unprecedented development in all areas of the State and all sections of the society.

Judge A Singh handed down the punishment to Santosh Markam on whom a fine of Rs 10,000 was also slapped.
