Honeytrap: Court extends remand

Indore, MP, Sep 22 (UNI) A local court on Sunday extended until Friday the police custody remand period of two persons accused in a high-profile honeytrapping case while a third was incarcerated in judicial confinement.
According to the prosecution, the trio was presented before Judicial Magistrate Abdullah Ahmad. Aarti Dayal and Monica Yadav will continue in police captivity; the third perpetrator is Omprakash Kori. The threesome was placed under arrest on Thursday. Shweta, her namesake Shweta and Barkha Soni Bhatnagar – apprehended on Friday – are in judicial custody at the District Jail. The law-enforcement action followed a complaint lodged by Municipal Corporation officer Harbhajan Singh.
