Homeopathy Offers An Alternative To Avoid Joint Replacement Surgery for Arthritis

Kolkata, Oct 14(UNI): Dr. Kalyan Banerjee's Clinic, one of the largest homeopathic practices in the world, is successfully helping patients diagnosed with arthritis steer clear of surgeries and providing relief from severe pain simply through homeopathic management of the disease.
Stating this and dwelling on the efficacy of the treatment for arthritis, Padma Shri, Dr Kalyan Banerjee, founder Dr Kalyan Banerjee's Clinic said, "Patients diagnosed with arthritis, taking conventional medicines but failing to show results, having severe side effects and can no longer continue conventional medicines to manage their disease and those who experience flare-ups of their condition come to us extensively to seek treatment. Those who want to avoid surgeries and joint replacements or are unfit to get these surgeries done and even those who have suffered from infections or organ damage (liver and kidneys) due to the long-term use of painkillers, anti-inflammatory medicines and immunosuppressants for arthritis have successfully been treated by us, subverting the need to go in for any kind of surgical procedures. Although completely reversing all changes in the joints may not happen in every case."
Commenting on the effectiveness of homeopathy in managing arthritis, Dr Kushal Banerjee, M.Sc. (Evidence Based Medicine), University of Oxford and senior homeopath at the clinic said, "Arthritis refers to a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions causing inflammation of the joints, and these include such ailments as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, seronegative arthritis, lupus-related arthritis, psoriatic arthropathy and gout, among various others. Though older people are more prone to getting arthritis, it can affect people of all ages including children and causes can include anything from injury to abnormal metabolism, genetic makeup, immune system dysfunction, and infections. Medication along with focussed exercise, improvement of diet and lifestyle all are needed to be effectively managed."
