High-level meeting on Miao-Vijoynagar road held

Itanagar, Oct 17 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (retd) BD Mishra along with Chief Minister Pema Khandu co-chaired a high-level meeting here on Thursday to finalise the project to construct the Miao-Vijoynagar road.
The meeting decided on carrying out the new alignments to cover maximum number of habitats and construction of bailey bridges with 40 R (Resistance) classification, a Raj Bhavan communique said.
During the meeting, the Governor said that for national security and welfare of the people of remote areas, concerted effort must be made to connect them with the mainland at the earliest.
