Health Dept to open covid care centre at Saddopur on Ambala-Chandigarh-highway

Ambala, Apr 28 (UNI(The Health Department would soon open a Covid Care Centre at Saddopur on Ambala-Chandigarh highway to treat the patients tested positive of corona. This was disclosed by the Civil Surgeon Dr Kuldip Singh here Wednesday. He said the Centre would be used to treat the covid-19 patient increasing every day.
The Civil Surgeon Singh said that the sudden surge of covid patients was many times more than the previous wave of coronavirus. The Health department was very much worried and the health workers were working day and night to serve the corona patients. H said that there were 3200 active cases of corona in the district. The people should be more conscious over the situation which had worsened this time. The people should take precautions to keep the disease away. The people, he said, could save themselves from the pandemic by adopting the covid norms circulated through advisory by the health department.
Dr Kuldip Singh said that the disease was spreading the patients who had come from Ghaziabad, Panipat, Delhi and other places. He however, said that ample arrangements had been made to overcome the surge of corona. He informed that covid care centres had been working in Mullana, Naraingarh, Ambala City Mission Hospital and MM Medical College Mullana and other places. He said that some sensitive areas had been marked which had been made macro containment areas where residents had been advised to remain inside their homes and confine themselves in their residences. He informed that oxygen was available in sufficient quantity in Ambala and consignment of 12 TM is reaching very shortly. There is no cause of panic. He said that ventilators were available in the hospitals.
