Bengaluru, Mar 20 (UNI) Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) today said it has received bookings to the tune of 2500 for its latest offering WR-V model, an all new sporty lifestyle vehicle designed and manufactured in India. Company Vice President Ramesh Kumar Sharma told newsmen here that the vehicle was the first model developed by the Honda R and D team in India in conjunction with the Japanese counterparts. He said the company had began the year on a highly satisfactory note with the redesigned Honda City launched early this year having a booking of 14,000 in a month's time. He said the company planned to come out with more models this year, without specifying the segment. Honda WR-V was launched in the city today and the vehicle has been developed under the concept 'refresh for urban India'. UNI CNR MSP CS 1600
