Chandigarh, May 17 (UNI) Haryana government has decided to give benefits of Employees Provident Fund (EPF) to Gramin Chowkidars in the state to ensure their social security.
An official spokesperson on Monday said that a proposal in this regard has been approved by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
He said that now the Gramin Chowkidars will be given the benefit of EPF at the rate of 12 per cent. He informed that 7,017 Gramin Chowkidars of the state will be benefited by this decision and the government exchequer will bear a financial burden of about Rs 7.07 crore per annum.
