Haryana govt to extend benefits of Ayushmaan Bharat Yojana

Chandigarh, Nov 2 (UNI) Haryana Minister of State for Labour and Employment Nayab Singh said that the labourers in the state would not have to worry about health of his family, education of children and marriage expenditure as the state government has decided to extend the benefits of Ayushmaan Bharat Yojana to each registered labourer and his dependents.
Under the scheme, free treatment facility up to Rs five lakh would be provided to them, he said while addressing the gathering in Antyodaya Mela - Shramik Jagrukta Avm Samman Samaroh organised at Hisar on Friday.
On this occasion, he distributed sewing machines to 1,640 women and handed over cheques of over Rs 1.45 crore to 288 beneficiaries under various schemes.
