Haryana DGP hands over cheque of Rs 50 lakh to wife of late HC

Chandigarh, Jul 15 (UNI) Haryana Director General of Police Manoj Yadava on Monday handed over a cheque of Rs 50 lakh as accidental death insurance claim to Rekha, wife of late Head Constable Yashpal, who had laid down his life in the line of duty.
The DGP urged the family members to provide best education to the wards of the deceased, as this will be the real tribute to the departed soul. Police will provide all kind of facilities to them, under the welfare schemes of the department, he assured.
Conveying his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family, he said Yashwal would be long remembered for his bravery and excellent services to the Police department.
