HANM volunteers staged protest outside Meghalaya secretariat

Shillong, July 4 (UNI) Members of the Hynniewtrep Achik National Movement (HANM) on Monday staged a sudden protest outside the gate of the main secretariat building and shouted slogans against the ruling Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) government.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma was chairing a cabinet meeting which was attended by his council of ministers and senior government officials.
The sudden appearance of the HANM volunteers outside the gate of the main secretariat caught the State police unaware.
