HAFED to set up modern rice mill in Sonepat dist

Chandigarh, Sep 25 (UNI) The Haryana State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Limited (HAFED) has now decided to set up a Modem Rice Mill at Baroda in Sonepat district.
All Basmati varieties of rice including 1121 and with Shella and Paraboiled Rice production facilities for sale of good quality rice to the consumers of Haryana and for export to other basmati rice consuming countries are being made strengthened.
The new Rice mill will be set-up with a cost of approximately Rs 12 crore with production capacity of four MT per hour. This new mill will be in the interest of farming community of this area and their agri produce will be purchased in the Mandis on remunerative price to improve the financial help of the farmers.
