Gold Smuggling: Kerala IT Secy M Sivasankar removed from post

Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 7 (UNI) Kerala IT Secretary Mr M Sivasankar has been removed from the post on Tuesday soon after his removal from the post of Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister.
This was in the backdrop of various media reports that the State IT Secretary is having links with a woman, Swapna Suresh, a key conspirator in the gold smuggling through diplomatic baggage addressed to the UAE Consulate in this Capital City.
Mr Mohammed Y Safirulla IAS will be the new IT Secretary. Mr M Sivasankar had applied for a long leave soon after his removal from Principal secretary to the CM today.
