Gehlot welcomes SC decision to grant bail to Chidambaram

Jaipur, Dec 4 (UNI) Rajasthan Chief Minister and Congress leader Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday welcomed the Supreme Court's decision to grant bail to senior party leader and former Finance Minister P Chidambaram.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Mr Gehlot said, 'I welcome the Honourable SC's decision to grant bail to former Central Minister and senior Congress leader #PChidambaram ji after more than a 100 days in jail. Truth finally prevails.'
Chidambaram was granted bail in the case related to alleged irregularities in the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) clearance given to INX Media to the tune of Rs 305 crore in 2007 during his tenure as the finance minister.
