Gangtok's Lal Bazar closed: in protest

Gangtok, Dec 3 (UNI) Lal Bazar, the main vegetable market here, was closed on Saturday in protest against the Gangtok Municipal Corporation asking for licence documents from the traders.
The protests took place when GMC Mayor Neil Chettri. was on an inspection of the market, checking the legal documents.
An angry Chettri later demanded the arrest of the protest leader, whom he did not name.
