Gang of house thieves nabbed, Rs 45 lakhs worth stolen articles seized

Bengaluru, Jan 20 (UNI) Police have nabbed a notorious seven member gang of house thieves, including a teen aged boy and a woman, in the city and recovered from them Rs 45 lakhs worth gold and other stolen articles.
Police said that the arrested were identified as Abraham (19), Dhanush (22), Kantharaju (24), Anantraj (32), Shrimathi Shobha(24), Kartik (27) and Gagan (29).
During preliminary questioning it was revealed that Abraham had been sent to Remand Home in 2020 for involvement in criminal activities and after coming out he continued indulging in crime by joining hands with Dhanush, who was involved in attempt to murder case in Banashankari Police Station limits.
