Four powerful landmines recovered in Palamu, defused later

Daltonganj, Sep 25 (UNI) In a joint operation conducted by Jharkhand Jaguar and jawans of Palamu Police, four powerful landmines were recovered on Friday under Manatu Police Station area.
Palamu SP Sanjeev Kumar has confirmed the recovery. Police sources claimed that on Thursday evening a tip off had been received regarding landmines being planted on the Manatu-Chak main road near Gidhni Mode.
Post the tip off, security personnel reached on the spot and recovered the bombs. On Friday, a team of bomb disposal squad reached on the spot and defused the bomb.
