Formalities at last stage for CUHP foundation stone at Dehra : Dhumal

Kangra, Jan 6 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and former chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal on Sunday said that formalities for laying the foundation stone of Central University Himachal Pradesh (CUHP) at Dehra were at the final stage of completion and an announcement to this effect will be made soon.
CM Dhumal said that in 2011 following announcement of CUHP for Kangra district it was clear that appropriate land was available at Dehra and the then BJP government identified land for the Beas campus of the university and now the CUHP was coming up soon on this identified land. He said that for this achievement people of Dehra had agitated too.
The BJP leader blamed the Congress government for pushing CUHP, an important educational institute, to a dock because of political vendetta and by this action it not only played with the sentiment of the youth of the state but adversely affected the development of the state too.
