Flood in river Krishna : Notice issued to Naidu to vacate riverfront residence

Vijayawada, Aug 17 (UNI) The Revenue department has issued a notice to former Chief Minister and leader of the Opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly N Chandrababu Naidu to vacate his riverfront residence immediately as the house is likely to be inundated with water due to flood in river Krishna.
Deputy Tahasildar V Srinivas Reddy, “without mentioning the name of Mr Chandrababu Naidu in the notice” issued an “urgent notice” asking the dwellers of the house to vacate.
The official said in the notice that at present 7 lakh cusecs of water is being released at the Prakasam barrage and one more lakh cusecs of flood water is expected to receive tomorrow. To avoid loss of life, the dwellers of the house are directed to vacate immediately, the notice said.
