Bathinda , Nov 27 (UNI) All efforts of Haryana government, including putting up the barricades and deploying police forces, failed to stop the farmers, who were preparing for the Delhi march on Friday.
The Bhartiya Kisan Union Ekta Ugrahan, which had earlier stayed on the Punjab Haryana border, on Friday morning, reached the Haryana border.
The members of Bhakiyu Ekta, along with a large number of women, carrying ration, quilts, mattresses and other belongings, also entered Haryana by removing the heavy barricading stones and sand, planted by the police.
Meanwhile in Doomwali, a village near Bathinda on Punjab Haryana border, the ryots entered Haryana with complete preparation and vigour.
Haryana police had made strict arrangement to stop them and the path was completely sealed with barricades, but the young farmers of Punjab uprooted the barricades and even threw them aside.
After the Central government permitted the peasants to protest at Burari, the farmers were not stopped anywhere and reached the agitation venue.
