Ex-state president of SP Mahila Sabha joins BJP

Lucknow, Mar 29 (UNI) Five-time state President of Samajwadi Party (SP) Mahila Sabha Geeta Singh along with leaders of various other parties joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday.
Those who took membership in the party's state office in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak included former district Panchayat President Kamalpal Kaur, former Vice-President of Punjabi Academy Harpal Singh Jaggi and former district Panchayat President Puneetpal Monty Ahluwalia.
Besides, former state Secretary of SP's Minority Cell Harpal Singh Rana (Lakhimpur), social worker Rajinder Singh Neeta, district Panchayat Member Pooja Singh, state Secretary and former Congress candidate from Domariyaganj Assembly Sachchidanand Pandey, former spokesperson Zeba Yashmeen, senior surgeon Dr Kaushal Verma and former Chairman Kalpana Bajpai also joined the party.
