Elderly set ablaze over property sharing dispute in Telangana

Hyderabad, Jul 14 (UNI) A grandmother was allegedly set ablaze by her 15-year-old grandson following a property sharing dispute at Shankarpally mandal of Rangareddy, outskirts of the city on Tuesday.
The elderly woman, Kansamma, who is survived by a son and three daughters, had recently divided her property and gave a share to her daughters too, police said here.
Unhappy with her sharing, Kansamma’s grandson Shiva Kumar, a Class 10 student, demanded that his father, the only son, be given the share that was given to the three women, doused her with petrol and set her ablaze.
