Educational competitions dedicated to 400th Parkash Purb of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji from July 6

Chandigarh, Jul 5 (UNI) The Punjab School Education Department has done all arrangements for five and a half month long educational competitions dedicated to the 400th Parkash Purb of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
Stating this here on Sunday, a spokesperson said that Education Secretary Kirshan Kumar has already released the calendar regarding this and competitions would be held from July six to December 21. These include shabd gyan, song, poetry, speech, playing musical instruments (harmonium, tabla, dholak, fiddle, dhadd), poster making, painting, slogan writing, calligraphy, PPT making and dastarbandi.
He said that these competitions would be related only to the life, philosophy, teachings and sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji. Only government school students will be able to participate in these competitions. All the competitions will be held at primary, middle and secondary levels.
