New Delhi, Sep 13 (UNI) Reacting to Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi's reference to Bollywood when asked about 'dynastic politics' at the University of California yesterday, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor today said that 'each member of the Kapoor generation was chosen by the public based on merit'. Addressing students and intellectuals at the University of California in Berkley yesterday, Rahul, when asked a question of dynasty politics, had cited the example of Abhishek Bachchan while explaining that 'dynasty legacy' was a normal thing in India. Reacting to Rahul's speech, Rishi Kapoor, in a series of tweets, said,"Rahul Gandhi. In the 106 years of Indian cinema of India, Kapoor's contribution is 90 years. In a Question-Answer session at the University of California, Berkeley on 'India at 70: Reflections on the Path Forward', when Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi was asked about the allegations that the Indian National Congress is a dynastic party, he said,'most of the country runs like this. So, don't go after me. Akhilesh Yadav is a dynast, Mr Stalin (DMK supremo M Karunanidhi's son) is a dynast, Mr (Prem Kumar) Dhumal's son (Anurag Thakur of the BJP) is a dynast.
