Do not operate school buses without proper documentation: RTO

Hamirpur (HP), Nov 27(UNI) Regional Transport Officer, Virendra Sharma has appealed to the management of all schools and colleges not to operate any of their vehicles on the roads without the required permit renewal, insurance, and passing.
In a statement, he said that due to the Corona crisis, buses and other vehicles of many educational institutions could not run for a long time as a result the passing, mechanical fitness and other related formalities of many vehicles may be pending.
Virendra Sharma said that such educational institutions should ensure passing, insurance, and permit renewal of their vehicles within a week. “If any vehicle is found violating its rules, then strict action will be taken against it under the Motor Vehicles Act”.
