Culture is the identity of Jharkhand says Raghubar

Gumla, Nov 9 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that culture was the identity of the state and people should make all possible steps to protect and conserve it further.
Addressing the people after inaugurating a programme in Badri village under Ghagra block of this district he said throughout his life late Karthik Oraon made efforts to keep the culture intact and the Jatra Mela organised at the spot is an indication of efforts made by him to/ protect culture and said that it is very important to make the future generations aware of the rich cultural heritage.
Mr Das said that there was a need to make efforts to build a Jharkhand as per the dreams of Karthik Oraon where no one is illiterate and exploited. Elaborating on the life of the great leader he said that despite being foreign educated and an engineer he dedicated his life for the welfare of the tribals. He said that for the first time for the welfare of the tribals the tribal ministry has been formed.
