Jammu, Mar 29 (UNI) Mother of Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor's Advisor Farooq Khan's mother has donated Rs five lakh to 'Sewa Bharti,' to help the needy, in view of the Novel Coronavirus threat.
As per a statement issued here, Khalida Begum (87), while acknowledging the tough time that country is passing through due to the sudden outbreak of COVID 19, and further acknowledging the services being provided by 'Sewa Bharti', the esteemed social organisation, in J&K and rest of India, has donated Rs five lakh for serving the needy in J&K.
She had saved this amount for performing Haj, which she has deferred, due to the present situation.
