COVID-19 cases reaches 18016 in K'taka

Bengaluru, Jul 2 (UNI) The Karnataka Health department on Thursday reported 1502 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, the highest single-day spike, in the state.
According to official sources, the number of new deaths also reported a highest single-day spike of 19 cases, taking the toll to 272 ever since the onset of the pandemic in the state.
There were 9406 active cases in the state, and 161 patients have got admitted into the ICU's in various hospitals, while the rest were in moderate condition including those who had displayed only mild or no symptoms at all.
