Covid-19: 2 .65 lakh new cases detected in Nashik division

Nashik, Jan 19 (UNI) The recovery rate of corona patients in Nashik division is encouraging due to the efforts of the administration and the health system to prevent the spread of corona. Currently, there is a decrease in the number of patients undergoing treatment. Till the date total of 2 ,65,350 corona patients fin the Nashik division, out of which 2,57,310 patients have overcome from corona. At present 3,005 patients are undergoing treatment. To date, 5,035 patients have died in the division with a recovery rate of 96.97, while the mortality rate is 1.89 per cent. This information was given by the Deputy Director of Health, Nashik Circle Office, Dr. P. D. Gandal .

According to an official press note,till date in Nashik division 11,33,568 reports have been sent to the lab from Nashik division out of which 2,65,350 reports have come positive. There are 4,369 home quarantine and 223 institutional quarantine in the division. There are five districts in Nashik division are Nashik, Jalgaon, Dhule , Ahmednagar and Nandurbar.
