Couple dies as van hit bike in Jaunpur

Jaunpur (UP), June 28 (UNI) A couple died after their motorcycle was hit by a pick-up in Singramau area of the district on Tuesday.
Police sources said that Subhash Singh (42), a resident of Baderi village, along with his wife Neelam (40) was going to Dhakwa in connection with some work. "As they were approaching the highway the pick-up hit the motorcycle they were riding on," they said.
Police said that they were taken out by the local residents, who also informed the police. "The police took the couple to the community health center at Badlapur where doctors declared Subhash and Neelam dead," they said.
