Lucknow, Jun 22 (UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati has asked the government to make Corona vaccine a public campaign in rural areas and end all controversies and political dispute.

In a series of tweets on Tuesday, Ms Mayawati said, "controversy and politics over the manufacture and vaccination of Corona vaccine has led to the problem for the public."

She said now all-round effort is necessary to put an end to the vaccine controversy and take its benefits to the people.

"There is a need to make corona vaccination a public campaign in a vast rural-dominated country like India," the ex UP CM said . Besides scientists also need proper support and encouragement, she added.

Ms Mayawati said along with this, the BSP demands the central government and all the state governments to strengthen the basic health services.
