Constitute a coordination committee under LG to tide over present COVID situation in Pondy: Ramadass

Puducherry, Aug 8 (UNI) Alleging that the government had failed to prevent the spread of Coronavirus in the right time, former Lok Sabha member from Puducherry Prof M Ramadass on Saturday suggested that a coordination committee be constituted under the Lt.Governor and consisting of Ministers, Secretaries and Medical Officers to tide over the present extraordinary situation here and to save the lives of the people.
In a statement, Prof Ramadass said the number of people affected by COVID-19 is nearing 5000 and deaths to 100 in the UT.
