CMP to be legalised, separate ministry for it: Ramana

Hyderabad, Nov 17 (UNI) Telangana Telugu Desam Party (TTDP) President L Ramana on Saturday said that the Common Minimum Programme (CMP) of Mahakutami, re-named as Prajakutami (Peoples Front) will be legalised and also a separate Ministry will be created for it.
Speaking at the Meet-the-Programme, organised jointly by Telangana Working Journalists’ Federation (TWJF) and Hyderabad Union of Journalists (HUJ) at Sundaraiah Vignana Bhavan here, Mr Ramana said that the CMP is being preparing under the Chairmanship of Telangana Jana Samiti (TJS) President Prof Kodandaram who played a vital role during the separate statehood movement.
He said , “We have two objectives in preparing the CMP. Firstly, the CMP will be against the autocratic rule of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) and secondly to fulfill the aspirations of the people. These elections are not between the Peoples Front and TRS. The Peoples Front consisting of Congress, TDP, TJS and CPI was formed to bring down the TRS from power.
