Jaipur, Nov 17((UNI) Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Deputy Speaker Rao Rajendra Singh, some members of the Council of Ministers and 2 dissident ministers were among 673 contestants who entered the fray for December 7 Assembly elections in Rajasthan on penultimate day on Saturday.
Ms Raje filed nomination for her fourth successive term to the assembly from Jhalrapatan constituency in Jhalawar district while Deputy Speaker Mr Singh submitted papers for his traditional Shahpura seat in Jaipur district.
State Ministers Kali Charan Saraf (Malviya Nagar-Jaipur)), Gajendra Singh Khimsar (Lohawat-Jodhpur) Ms Krishnendra Kaur alias Deepa(Nadbai), Bansidhar Bajiya (Khandela), former BJP state president and sitting MLA Ashok Parnami (Adarsh Nagar-Jaipur), filed candidature on behalf of the ruling party.
