Shimla, Jan 24(UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur laid foundation stones and inaugurated developmental projects worth around Rs. 285 crore in a single day in Dharampur Assembly constituency of Mandi district on Thursday.
While addressing a public meeting at Sandhol, the Chief Minister greeted Irrigation and Public Health Minister Mahender Sigh Thakur on his birthday and said that the endeavours of the Minister to ensure development of the area were inspiring for all.
Jai Ram Thakur said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was always keen to ensure that Himachal Pradesh emerges as the most developed State of the country. He said that for this the Prime Minister has provided liberal assistance of about Rs. 10,000 crore to Himachal Pradesh during the short period of one year.
