CM lays foundation stone for mini-sports stadium

Puducherry, Jan 13 (UNI) Chief Minister V Narayanasamy on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for the Rs 12.19 crore mini-sports stadium at Anna Thidal here, under the smart city project.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the Central government had rejected the smart city proposal at Saiderapet put forth by the N R Congress government.
After the Congress government came to power, the smart city project was taken up again and the place was changed from Saiderapet to Puducherry town and it was developed.
