Clouds make mercury rise slightly in MP

Bhopal, Nov 11 (UNI) A western disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir caused light cloud cover over numerous places in Madhya Pradesh, including the state capital, resulting in a slight increase in temperature compared to Sunday.
“This City of Lakes was warmer by 1.4 degrees Celsius though night temperature remained unaffected. It recorded a maximum of 30.1 C and minimum of 16.8 C, which is a couple of notches above normal. Conditions are similar in Gwalior, Chambal, Indore and Ujjain divisions. No other weather system exists as of now. Gwalior and Umaria were the state’s coldest at 13 C,” senior meteorologist PK Saha told UNI here.
