Citizens should refrain from going near river drains: Dharamsala DC

Dharamsala, July 6 (UNI) District Deputy Commissioner Dr Nipun Jindal on Wednesday said that people should refrain from going near river drains during the rainy season, besides instructions have also been given to the sub-divisional officers concerned to put up sign boards at places sensitive to landslides and others so that accidents can be prevented.
Deputy Commissioner said that a disaster control room has also been set up at the district level, which will be open 24 hours a day so that relief and rehabilitation work can be started with quick effect during the disaster at any level.
