BSF hands over Bihar native to his family

Jalandhar, May 27 (UNI) Border Security Force (BSF) troops handed over an apprehended Indian national Shankar Mandal (45), a resident of Sasan falling under Dhoriya police station of Banka district in Bihar through Punjab Police to his family members, after verifying his antecedents.
A spokesperson of the Punjab Frontier’s Headquarter of the BSF here on Thursday said that the officers of the BSF and Punjab Police co-ordinated with the family and ensured family union without loss of time.
He said that the BSF men apprehended the Bihar native near from the border security fence while he was roaming aimlessly in the area of 32nd Bn of the BSF in Amritsar sector. Nothing objectionable was recovered from him, he added.
