BJP Vice President of Tripura joined in Congress

Agartala, Mar 19 (UNI) A day before AICC President Rahul Gandhi’s rally, ruling BJP in Tripura today received a jolt with the desertion of second in command of the state committee Vice President Subal Bhowmik, party state committee member and SC Morcha leader Prakash Chandra Das.
They joined in Congress along with hundreds of their followers in Congress Bhawan here in presence of top leaders of the party.
Besides, BJP Kishan Morcha leader Prantosh Debnath and CPI (M) leader and elected member of Kailashahar Municipal Council Debashis Sen also joined in BJP in the same program along with their supporters. All those who joined in Congress had been with the party but they had left the party alleging friendship of former central leaderships of AICC with CPI (M).
