BJP MLA, Civic Commissioner booked by Thane Police for irregularities in construction of hotel

Thane, Sep 21 (UNI) Following the Bombay High Court order, the Rural Police on Saturday registered a criminal offence against a sitting BJP MLA, a Civic Commissioner and others, for alleged irregularities in granting permission for construction of a hotel in the said township.
Consequent upon the directions of the Bombay High Court, the Rural Police on Saturday registered a criminal offence against a sitting MLA of BJP from Mira-Bhayander Narendra Mehta, the MBMC civic commissioner and others of alleged irregularities in granting permission for construction of a hotel in the said township.
The accused in the case include sitting MLA of BJP from Mira-Bhayander Narendra Mehta, MBMC Civic Commissioner, Directors and partners of Seven Eleven Hotel, besides the civic commissioner and other officials of the MBMC, who gave permission for the construction of the hotel.
