BJP adoring Ambedkar?

Amritsar, Oct 25 (UNI) Bhartiya Janta Party National General Secretary on Sunday paid floral tributes to Dr B R Ambedkar near the Town Hall here despite from Dalit oriented Bhahujan Samaj party.
Terming the teachings of Dr Ambedkar as a lighthouse and inspiring for any party, the BJP leader Tarun Chugh, in an apparent reference to BSP, said that anyone playing politics with their (Dr Ambedkar's) ideology to achieve their narrow vested design would be dealt with strong hands.
Earlier BSP activists led by state General Secretary Rohit Khokhar and district president (urban) Tarsem Singh Bholla tried to disturb the function by waiving party flags and raising anti-BJP slogans. They were taken into custody by local police and detained at police station Kotwali, however, later released.
