Bihar reports 3,469 new COVID cases, 6 fatalities

Patna, Apr 10 (UNI) Bihar registered 3,469 new cases of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours, taking the nuber of active cases in the state to 11,998.
According to the health department sources of the 3,469 cases detected during the last 24 hours 1,431 cases were found in Patna which accounts for 41.25 percent of the total cases. This was followed by Gaya with 310, Muzaffarpur 183, Bhagalpur 97, Purnia 87, Aurangabad 93, Begusarai 80, Jehanabad 77, Bhojpur 74, Lakhisarai 70, Saran 62, Siwan 57, Munger, Arwal and Vaishali 51 each, Saharsa and Darbhanga 50 each, Katihar 49, Gopalganj 44, West Champaran 43, Nawada 40, Sitamarhi 36, Rohtas 35, East Champaran 33, Madhepura 32, Kaimur 31, Buxar 30, Kishanganj 29, Araria 27, Nalanda 25, Samastipur 22, Banka and Madhubani 20 each, Khagaria 17, Jamui 16, Supaul 11, Sheikhpura 6 and Sheohar 2.
The sources said that 6 people died due to corona virus infection during the past 24 hours in the state.
