Barring parts of south, life returns to normal in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 22 (UNI) Life returned to normal on Wednesday in Kashmir valley after remaining crippled for a day due to a strike called by separatists on the death anniversaries of Mirwai Moulvi Muhammad Farooq and Abdul Gani Lone.

However, business and other activities remained crippled for the second successive day in twin south Kashmir districts of Shopian and Kulgam, where situation is tense following killing of two militants in an encounter with security forces on Wednesday.
