Arrivals of bodies of martyred CRPF jawans will be delayed as aircraft develops snag at Patna airport

Kolkata, Feb 16 (UNI) The bodies of the two martyred CRPF personnel - Havildar Bablu Santra and Sudip Biswas - are expected to arrive here a bit late than the scheduled time as an IAF aircraft, which is carrying the coffins, developed snag at the Patna Airport en route, official sources said.
Sources said the aircraft from Delhi on way to Patna, Ranchi and Kolkata, has developed a technical snag at the Patna Airport. Another IAF aircraft was being requisitioned to carry the coffins of the jawans.
Bablu Santra(39) from Howrah and Sudip Biswas(27) from Nadia, laid their lives along with 40 CRPF personnel on the line of duty during a terror attack at Pulwama in J & K on Friday last.
Sources said the CRPF at the airport will give a guard of honour to the jawans before their coffins are taken to their homes for the last rites.
Meanwhile, thousands of mourners have assembled at Bauria in Howrah, the native village of Bablu. Similarly, a large number of people have gathered at Sudip's home at Tehatta in Nadia to pay tribute to the brave heart. People have come in large number to join the families of the martyrs for the last rites.
Reports from various parts of the state also said rallies condemning the terrorists and Pakistan for attacks on the CRPF jawans are being organised.
They also burned the effigies of terror group leader and Pakistani leaders.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Baneerjee is expected to lead a candle rally from Hazra in south Kolkata to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi statue in central Kolkata at around 4 pm today.
