Baramulla, Aug 14 (UNI) Troops unearthed a militant hideout and recovered large cache of arms and ammunition, including grenades, pistols, detonators and Pak currency in this north Kashmir district, a defence ministry spokesman said on Friday.
He said on a specific information about the presence of militants, army launched Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Trenarian Dogi Pahad in Baramulla on August 11.
After conducting massive searches, army finally unearthed a militant hideout on Thursday and recovered large cache of arms and ammunition. The recovery included three pistols with magazines and 73 rounds of live ammunition, two detonators, 15 grenades and Pak currency.
