AP Water Resources department receives Global Platinum award-2019

Amaravati, Feb 18 (UNI) The AP Water Resources Department has received global platinum award-2019 for human resources and skill development.
The Energy and environment foundation of India, Delhi, presented the award to the Water Resources department during World Petro Coal Conference held in New Delhi on February 17. Delegates from 10 countries including India participated in the conference.
The award is presented for the skill development activity done for farmers to empower them in different programmes taken up by the Water Resources Department. Awareness and skill development to the farmers were taken up under the Hydrology project and Andhra Pradesh Integrated Irrigation Agriculture transformation project.
