AP govt invites IGBC to partner in making buildings green in state

Hyderabad, Sep 28 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh government on Friday invited IGBC to partner in making the buildings green in the state.
Addressing the CII-IGBC Leadership Awards Night during the 17th Green Building Congress 2019 here, AP Minister for Industries Mr Mekapati Goutham Reddy said the state government would be happy to work with CII-IGBC on making all the new and existing buildings in Andhra Pradesh become green buildings; making industries go green and improve their competitiveness and environmental performance; encouraging green entrepreneurs and start-ups; and encouraging green education and skill development for college students”.
The Minister also informed that Sri City in Andhra Pradesh has implemented many green measures and achieved Platinum rating under IGBC Green Cities rating system.
