All EVMs sealed, kept in safe custody

Shimla, Nov 10 (UNI) The Election Commission said here Friday that elaborate security arrangements have been made for safe custody of poll EVM and VVPAT machines throughout the state. Twenty three companies of Central Armed Para-Military forces had deployed for the purpose.
Alll the polled EVMs have been sealed and put under three-tier security at 48 locations in the state. Counting of votes would be held at Dec 18.
Chief Electoral Officer Pushpendra Rajput said in a media statement here said that 100 strong rooms have been set up at these 48 places with CCTV surveillance.
EVMs of Badabangal and Pangi were airlifted to the Baijnath and Chamba sub-division in in special helicopters.
